CLOSING REMARKS

Duncan Taylor is a well known individual bottler and a NDP (non-distiller producer) who have released truly some wonderful expressions over the years. This 7 year expression from Bunnahabhain fits what we can expect from the Duncan Taylor brand. Distilled by Bunnahabhain in 2014, aged in oak casks for 7 years before being bottled in 2021. This is the first expression from Bunnahabhain I have ever tried and I am definitely intrigued now to try their core lineup. The overall flavor profile is light with periodic flavor bombs which makes its a fun sipper. I wouldn’t put this is a daily sipper, though the price range is at an ideal spot for a daily sipper. The aromas are very welcoming which make you want to keep coming back for more. I could keep nosing this. On the palate the fun continues with a great combination of fruits and nuts with sweet peat + salt notes. Compared to other IBs or NDPs for American whiskey, I appreciate the transparency regarding the source, and age from Duncan Taylor. At ~$47, this offers a great value for your money with
